Lace Leaf Necklace
This necklace features a hand sculpted charm of an arrangement of Anthurium flowers and fronds curved to the contours of the neck. These flowers are bright red in nature, in homage a garnet cabochon is set in textured silver, and a small ruby within a flower charm dangling down the nape of the neck. Three white pearls break up the chain and dangle from the front of the necklace.
The Anthurium Necklace is part of a series of work inspired by flower arrangement. Since returning from overseas I’ve been staying with my parents who are avid gardeners. My Mum is a florist and makes arrangements with flowers from her garden almost daily. I’ve been inspired by her work as well as her collection of floristry books, in particular the unique forms of ikebana.
Adjustable up to 41cm.
Made by hand by Hannah from 925 sterling silver, a vintage natural garnet, a lab grown ruby, second hand pearls, and machine made chains.
Each piece of Dangerous Goods Jewellery is made individual from start to finish. Although some designs are similar no two pieces will ever be exactly the same as one another.
