Oyster Incense Holder 2
A small incense holder made from a cast oyster shell with barnacle detailing. The largest barnacle acts as a rest for short incense sticks, holding them as they burn. If incense isn’t your thing you can turn the tray upside down and the natural curve of the oyster creates a lovely little dish for small pieces of jewellery.
The oyster is cast in white bronze and has a deep silver colour, slightly darker than sterling silver. I have made a few of these incense holders, each oyster is made unique through the addition of tiny barnacles hand sculpted by me. I love things that have beauty and function, things that look like other things, and small treasures for my home - all of this was in mind when creating this design.
Approximately 4.5cm by 3cm.
Made by hand by Hannah from white bronze. Each piece of Dangerous Goods Jewellery is made individual from start to finish. Although some designs are similar no two pieces will ever be exactly the same as one another.
